Just after 2 episodes into the third season, HBO has decided to give True Blood a run at season four.  Apparently, the opening of the third season raked in over 5 million viewers, which was more than watched during season one and two.

Personally I feel we were let down during the finale of season 2.  We already have enough romantic vampire garbage with The Twilight Saga, let’s keep True Blood the way that it started.  A bunch of mean vampires who kick ass and have emotionless sex with good looking girls.  When they keep the whole Sookie/Bill love story to a minimum, I think they’ll start to see the viewers spike, much like the start of this season.
