Kotaku is reporting that Lucasarts has laid off thirty people; mostly from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II team. Thankfully, they say that the game has recently gone gold so it’s finished and these layoffs won’t affect what looks to be an awesome Star Wars game. Unfortunately they say that Force Unleashed III has been canned. That game will join Battlefront III as yet another Star Wars game sequel to never see the light of day (Battlefront III was previously in development at Rebellion). Lucasarts, why do you not want our money?
