5 Badass SciFi Weapons in Video Games

Bullets, guns, chainsaws, rifles, grenades, rocket launchers, Video Games have been experimenting with every possible weapon on the planet. If they still cannot find it..hell…they create one! There’s not a single weapon you’d name and would not find it in a Video Game. Like a bimbo, every weapon has its appeal. The following are 5 weapons which have made to the Badass list. These are a must whilst torturing.

LightsaberAlmost every Star Wars game

Torch

The lightsaber is undoubtedly one of the biggest selling props and most popular weapon in the overall SciFi genre.  Jedi and Sith use color crystals which reflect how their blade will look.  Sith generally use synthetic crystals which have been refined.  These are usually red.
Nail GunF.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R.

If you are a sadistic nut-job, and are desperately searching for a weapon to torture your enemies with. The best way is to nail them to the wall so that they may bleed to death.   Unfortunately you won’t find this beast in your local hardware store.
ExcavatorDead Rising

If you’re looking to do some landscaping while dismembering multiple zombies is stylish fashion, then this should be your “go to” weapon.  What the Excavator lacks in maneuverability it makes up for in looks.
Spread ShotContra

The 8-bit Contra on NES was popular mostly because of it’s Spreadshot. Every Contra player waited for the Spreadshot upgrade. You could fire as fast you can tap the B button and it made the game cake because you didn’t have to fire standing in front of the enemy.  Those who have played Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light might have noticed a similar shotgun.  I know I was feeling a bit nostalgic when I saw that buckshot fly.
The Lancer - Gears of War

Rifle/Chainsaw

The #1 weapon has to go to the Gears of War franchise’s Lancer.  This piece of heavy metal can hack any disembodied creature to pieces. This rifle has a chainsaw attached which increases the fun you can have with this high-caliber weapon. When you run out of ammo it’s the enemies who need to hide from Lancer’s rampage.  The sound produced while revving up the saw is the most awesome noise you will ever hear a digital weapon make.
