Blizzard has launched a preview of the new World of Warcraft Battle.net site, and if you’re a StarCraft 2 player it may look a little familiar. But despite the similarities to the SC2 site, the new WoW community hub is awesome for players. Just some of the features include vastly improved character pages that include just about every single tiny detail you want about your character, the ability to use your actual in-game character as your forum avatar, and much better forums overall. The character avatar thing works in that you can login the game, make your character look how you want it (like having your Level 80 sporting Tier 1 dungeon armor), and then logout to have that set as your forum avatar.
