Sad news this morning as The Empire Strikes back Director Irvin Kershner has died at the age of 87 in LA. Empire will always go down as the best of the Star Wars movies, but Kershner was no stranger to SciFi having gone on to direct an episode of Amazing Stories, the movie Robocop 2, and his final job as director was an episode on the doomed final season of SeaQuest when it was called SeaQuest 2032.

This is really sad. Not only did one of the greatest Space Chaptains to land on a planet with a Robot that got moved to his own series, (I don’t care what you say. Robbie OWNED that show) Lesly Nelson died on sunday, but now this man as well. Both within their own right as great legends in Hollywood.
May the force be with them both. I will truely miss them and enjoy the works that they have left behind.
