Immediately after the news broke that Sony is now going after nearly anyone who helped distribute the PS3′s Master Key (or jailbreak) online, someone decided to taunt Sony by tweeting the key to their invented PR figure Kevin Butler. The PR person “playing” Kevin Butler on Twitter thought it would be funny to respond to the tweet, accidentally retweeting the hack in the process.

For a company who is basing their lawsuit on the face that distributing the key is wrong, doesn’t it look pretty bad that they themselves distributed it in an attempt to be funny?
