The internet is seemingly going nuts this morning over an interview that Anne Hathaway gave with Oprah where she specifically mentions that she has been cast as “Catwoman” in The Dark Knight Rises. The thing is, this really isn’t new. While the press release announcing her casting did only say “Selina Kyle”, last month Academy Award winner Wally Pfister confirmed that he’s seen her costume tests and that the costume looks “Phenomenal“.

The current rumor is that the costume is inspired by the Tim Sale version of Catwoman, which has become the current costume in the comics. And those rumors do say the goggles will be included. Maybe we’ll get a big costume reveal at Comic Con in July.
