Star Trek Meets the Legion of Superheroes in October

Years ago, DC comics held the rights to publish comics based on Star Trek. From 1984 through 1996, more than a hundred issues and annuals based on the Original Series and The Next Generation was published. Today Star Trek is published by IDW, but they just announced a crossover with DC where the crew of the original Enterprise will team up with the Legion of Superheroes.

STAR TREK/LEGION OF SUPERHEROES will arrive in stores this October. The six-issue limited series will see the crew of the 23rd Century Enterprise beaming down to a planet and meeting the Legion of Superheroes from the 30th Century. They’ll face Khunds, Klingons, Borg, and the United Planets and United Federation of Planets becomes the Imperial Planets of Terra in this alternate universe.

Like with all IDW books, it’ll cost $3.99 an issue and there will most likely be multiple covers.
