That Prometheus synopsis? It’s a fake. A pretty awesome fake, but definitely fake.

It actually originated from an IMDB poster back in August, who made it up based on the rumors of the plot. It definitely was cool enough and plausible enough for people online to believe it, and the guy either is a good guesser or knows his Alien history as the plot point of humans turning into the xenomorphs was something Ridley Scott had in the original Alien, but cut out at one point.

The leaked trailer is definitely real with how quickly Fox is nuking any links to it from orbit. That means we’re likely to see an official release of the trailer within the next few weeks.
