X-Men First Class 2 is in Good Hands

We now know that the X-Men: First Class sequel stands a chance to be as good as the original. Deadline revealed today that Matthew Vaughn will be back to direct the sequel and Bryan Singer will produce again. Fox is smart to not mess with a good formula they have going, as First Class was the best X-Men movie in years.

The original rumored plans for the first sequel were to set it in the 70s, with the third movie set in the 80s. While the X-Men movie franchise has pretty much flushed the comic timeline and canon down the toilet, there are a bunch of mutants who can pop up in the 70s setting. Maybe they’ll have a massive pair of balls and put Mohawk Storm on the big screen?
