Could we be seeing the sequel to Kick Ass sooner than we thought? Harry over at AICN found this bit of news that comes from a Scottish interview with Mark Millar.

Basically, Millar says they’ll be filming Kick Ass 2 this summer. Is it possible? Definitely. The first Kick Ass was made as an independent movie that they did have trouble selling at first, so it’s very possible they are striking out on their own again with the sequel.

As Kick Ass was one of the best superhero movies ever made, a sequel would be most welcome. Lets just hope that Millar is telling the truth and the second movie will go in front of cameras in just a few months.
