As promised, UbiSoft revealed everything about Assassin’s Creed 3 last night, including the first trailer for the game. This time you’ll be playing as Connor, who is of Native American and English heritage. The game is reported to span a large time period between 1753 and 1783.

The trailer, while mostly CG, reveals how you’ll do free running in the forest. Without large buildings around, you’ll be running along the branches of the trees. It’s definitely a change from the previous games in the series, but not an unwelcome one.

Obviously we’ll find out more at E3 in a couple months, but this is shaping up to be one of the bigger games at the end of the year.
