Most fanboys are aware now that SyFy no longer cares about the quality of their shows. They crap out shallow drivel for just enough episodes to get into syndication, and then they cancel the show after four or five seasons. The Battlestar Galactica prequel Blood and Chrome is the fastest cancellation yet, as they cancelled it before it even began.

Deadline has the news that SyFy will no longer be producing the show as a traditional series, but it may find life as a digital series online. The already produced pilot movie will be aired on the channel, but after that if you want to see more you’ll have to watch it in a web browser if they do go forward with it.
