Back in 2003 before The Return of the King, AMC theaters held a “Trilogy Tuesday” where they aired the Extended Editions of Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers before the midnight showing of Return of the King. With The Avengers opening on May 4th, what better way to get ready for it than a marathon of Marvel movies?

On May 3rd, for $40, you can watch Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor 3D, and Captain America 3D in an epic marathon that will end with the 3D midnight screening of The Avengers.

This is only happening at AMC theaters, and only in select cities, but you can check out the initial cities at the AMC site here and more cities will be revealed on the 16th. Tickets for the first cities are now on sale, so if you want to be part of the epic marathon you’d better act quickly.
