At last year’s E3 Namco Bandai revealed that they would be bringing out a new Star Trek game based on the 2009 Abramsverse movie for the PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2013. They released a short teaser for it, but since then there hasn’t been much word on the Digital Extremes-developed co-op action game. With E3 a month away, publishers are doing their pre-E3 press tours and as part of that a new teaser trailer was released for the game.
It’s still pretty short like the original, but it shows off a larger variety of gameplay and environments. There’s still no news on the story, other than it’ll be set between the two movies and the villain of the game will be revealed at E3. We do know that the villain in the game will not be the same villain in the upcoming sequel. Here’s the trailer:
