Despite worries that the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation wouldn’t hit Blu-Ray until late this year, we’ll be able to buy it this July. That hopefully means that we’ll also see more seasons later in the year as it is the 25th Anniversary of the show.

The six disc set will feature all of the episodes in HD, as well as some great new special features. One of the things missing from the DVD release of the series were the episode promos that originally aired with the show, and each disc will include those for the episodes. There will also be a multi-part documentary on the first season, a gag reel, and what appears to be all of the extras from the original DVD release as well.

While no price was announced, the set will arrive on July 24th.
