Despite numerous leaks over the last few months, Dead Space 3 has been nothing more than a rumor…until now. EA confirmed to IGN that they’ll be showing off the game at E3 next week, which means the first look at the game will be out late Monday afternoon when EA has their press conference.
Aside from the ice planet that the previous leaks talked about, the only new feature that is pretty much confirmed is some kind of Co-Op mode. Isaac will be teaming up with a new character named John Carver (isn’t that a little too close to John Carter?). It’ll be interesting to see how Co-Op will change the Dead Space 3 gameplay, and if setting the game on a Lost Planet-esque snow world would change the claustrophobic feeling of the first two games any.
