Even though it looks like Guardians of the Galaxy will be the May 2014 Marvel movie, that isn’t stopping Edgar Wright from working on Ant Man. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Wright has filmed an Ant Man test reel to present to Marvel. It was apparently a short to demonstrate the tone he was going for with the movie, and there’s no word on who played Hank Pym in it.

This news comes off the recent information that London comic shops were cleared out of all Ant Man comics. If Wright was filming an Ant Man reel in the UK, then it’d make sense for those effects houses to need reference material.

Comic Con is coming up in two weeks, and Marvel has something big planned for Saturday night, so could it be that they would show off the reel to the fanboys in Hall H?
