I think there may be confirmation that early work on Edgar Wright’s Ant Man has begun. Bleeding Cool has a report that says three of the big comic shops in London have been completely cleared out of all Ant Man comics, with some buyers asking for some very specific and obscure references in the books:

If early design work on the film is underway, then the effects houses in the area will definitely need something to work off of and old Ant Man comic issues is the logical first step.
