If you’re like me and held off on finishing Mass Effect 3 until BioWare fixed the ending everyone was so angry about, you can pull out the game and start playing tomorrow. That’s when the Mass Effect 3: Extended Edition will arrive on all platforms the game is available on. Thankfully, the DLC will be completely free so BioWare won’t be charging people for them having to fix the ending.

BioWare says this doesn’t actually change any of the endings. The same palette-swapped ending sequences remain for each of the possible finales, but this DLC will add epilogues for each of the endings that will further explain things. Hopefully each of the endings gets a unique epilogue as opposed to just changing the color and lighting for each version.
