Don’t worry, this one is much better than the glorified Sony commercial that the teaser was. If you were confused as to why so many apparently dead characters popped up in the teaser, it turns out it’s all just a dream. The beginning of this trailer looks lifted directly out of Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead remake, but then it takes a definite Resident Evil turn.

The trailer doesn’t spoil much in showing that the movie will pick up immediately where the last one ended. It also tries to make it sound like it’ll be the last conflict with Umbrella, but obviously when this one makes millions of dollars Sony will immediately want a sixth movie. Also, look very closely as there’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot of Leon in there.
