Fox Could Lose Daredevil and Fantastic Four to Marvel Studios

While we’re still hoping for Disney to take the billion dollars they earned from The Avengers and sweeten the deal to have Sony allow Spidey in The Avengers, two other big superhero properties could be going home to Marvel soon. Latino Review has an article that points out that both the reboots for Daredevil and Fantastic Four have hit major snags in regards to directors, which means that unless Fox does something with them extremely quickly they’ll revert back to Marvel just like The Punisher recently did:

Fox lost David Slade and lost its ‘Daredevil’ reboot, putting them in a position where they need to get ‘Daredevil’ off the ground by the Fall if they don’t want to see the rights to the character revert back to Marvel. The last movie with the Daredevil characters was 2005’s ‘Elecktra’ which was released two years before the ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’ which would suggest that Fox is also two years away from seeing the Four revert back to Marvel.

As Daredevil protects Hell’s Kitchen, he isn’t out of the question to show up in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Perhaps one of The Avengers needs a blind lawyer? The Fantastic Four, on the other hand, could open up some mind-blowing possibilities. Not only does the rights to them include the Four, but also Silver Surfer, Galactus, and the Skrulls/Super Skrull. If Marvel manages to get them back, imagine having the Guardians of the Galaxy, Silver Surfer, The Avengers, and The Fantastic Four all teaming up to fight Thanos in an epic that would make fanboys soil theater seats worldwide.
