Too bad it’s a Kinect game.

Available now on Xbox Live Arcade the Mars Lander game is thankfully free as you use your body to maneuver the Curiosity rover to a hopefully safe landing on Mars. This is obviously meant to drum up excitement for the August 5/6 landing of the mobile science lab on the red planet, so one could only hope that the game is actually playable.

As I don’t own a Kinect I can’t go and download the game and comment on it, and I probably would since it was made by NASA. Kinect games have been really hit or miss with some working very well and others, like Steel Battalion, going down in history as one of the worst video games ever produced.
