See Dredd for FREE at San Diego Comic Con

It’s not uncommon for there to be movie screenings at the San Diego Comic Con. The famous screening of Scott Pilgrim where Edgar Wright led all of Hall H to the theater is credited for helping the movie bomb (because fans already saw it for free), but other movies have their premieres there. There’s a rumor that The Dark Knight Rises may screen at some point during the con, but a free screening of Dredd has been confirmed for Wednesday night at 10:00 (right after preview night) with Karl Urban introducing the movie.

Despite some sites using the screening to get free hits by holding contests for tickets, the screening is first come, first served. You do not need to win tickets. You just need to show up early enough to get a good place in line in order to get in. Again it’s first come, first served. Here is the location for the screening:
