The sequel to X-Men: First Class just officially became more awesome, and has the potential to be one of the best Marvel movies ever made…if they manage to pull it off. The rumors of this began back in June, and now it’s real. Speaking to IGN (see the embed below), Bryan Singer confirmed the X-Men sequel will be titled “Days of Future Past” and confirmed that it does deal with elements from that famous comic storyline as well as some new things.
Will they introduce Kitty in the sequel in order to bring that element from the comics into it? Wolverine is already there, but Singer hints that the scope is going to be pretty epic so it’s possible it’s not going to be a direct sequel to First Class but possibly tie into other X-Men movies as hinted at Comic Con.
