Maybe the SyFy Channel has heard the bitching of scifi fans around the world? It seems like they’re trying to make an effort to put more “scifi” shows on the channel, and one of the cooler shows out there is coming to the US thanks to them.

Following the success of importing the Canadian succubus series Lost Girl, SyFy is bringing down Continuum from the great white North. The series is about a cop from 2077 (Rachel Nichols) who who becomes stuck back in present day and hunts down criminals from her future. It’s apparently one of the highest-rated series in the history of the channel it airs on in Canada, and now those in the US will be able to check it out.

No date was set for the start, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it kicked off in January.
