The LA Dodgers often hold special themed scifi days at Dodger Stadium, like the popular Star Wars day that their superior rivals the SF Giants do every year. Last weekend was Star Trek day at the park, and they naturally had Captain Kirk himself throw out the first pitch. The “Recording Artist” title when announcing him was particularly awesome if you’ve ever heard his music.

You may notice from the video that the stadium was pretty empty. That’s because people would rather watch the game from the safety of their home and not risk their life by actually going to Dodger Stadium.
