Last week’s rumor that Fox could lose Daredevil and Fantastic Four to Marvel seems to be true, as Variety is reporting that Fox wants to hold on to Daredevil so bad; they’re willing to give up some characters back to Marvel. Specifically, Marvel is looking to regain Silver Surfer and Galactus from Fox; as they currently have the rights to the character as part of the Fantastic Four franchise. Marvel obviously has plans for the two characters, and any fanboy can imagine what those could be.

We already know that Avengers 2 will have the team, along with a bunch of new characters like Falcon and Ant Man, facing Thanos. How could you top that? By introducing Silver Surfer in his own movie sometime in “Phase 3″ and have a mind-altering epic battle between the superheroes of Earth and Galactus in the third Avengers.

And Marvel isn’t dumb enough to make Galactus a fucking cloud.
