If you’re as sad as I am about Amy and Rory leaving the Doctor right before the Christmas special this year, there’s some good news. The story of the Ponds won’t end with this year’s Doctor Who series, as the two will star in a mini-series titled “Pond Life” that details their life without the Doctor after the end of Series 6, and you’ll get to see it before the new series begins. The five-part mini-series will begin August 27th on the BBC’s Doctor Who site and Youtube channel.

While it doesn’t deal with what will happen to them after they leave the Doctor this year, it’s more with the Ponds and I’m sure you won’t complain about that. Here’s the announcement video:
