Recently Jeremy reviewed Total Recall and while his complaints are justified, you shouldn’t let them sway you from watching an entertaining SciFi flick.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way:

1. Don’t go in to this trying to compare the old with the new.  You will end up in an elbow flailing rage like Jeremy was.
2. Don’t expect to see Mars, you won’t.
3. There isn’t an ancient alien mystery.
4. The movie is PG-13.

What you’re left with is a man who got his mind fucked, the beginning of robot vs human warfare, and Kate Beckinsale looking phenomenal in her panties.  If that mixed with flying cars, futuristic gadgets, and a post apocalyptic setting is enough to get you excited, then you will like this movie.

My advice?  Go into this thinking that the movie is called “Mind Fuck 2.0″ and not Total Recall.  You will enjoy yourself.

For me it’s important to support SciFi, even if a plot doesn’t live up to your expectations.  Boycotting them only shows executives that they need to make another romantic comedy.
