I really liked The Amazing Spider-Man. They finally got the Peter Parker/Spidey character just right, and doing the whole Gwen Stacy saga takes guts. Also, Emma Stone was the absolute perfect choice for Gwen. I saw it a couple times in theaters, and have been waiting for news of when it’ll be hitting Blu-Ray.
Sony has announced no less than four different releases for The Amazing Spider-Man for November 9th. There will be a single-disc Blu-Ray, a three-disc Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy set, a four-disc Blu-Ray 3D/Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy set, and that four-disc set boxed with Spider-Man and Lizard figures.
It’s pretty well known that a lot of footage was cut from the movie, so the special features will include deleted scenes and alternate takes along with commentaries, a promo gallery, and screen tests. The 3D versions will also include an interactive 3D film school with director Mark Webb.
