Something Blizzard does in World of Warcraft is honor certain employees and select people with an NPC named after them. Aside from employees, players such as Ezra Chatterton (who passed away from cancer) have NPCs in the game as permanent remembrances of them. It’s a pretty big deal to have an NPC named after someone, so people playing Mists of Pandaria who also are familiar with the StarCraft II eSports scene were surprised to find Fruit Dealer himself immortalized as a Pandaren in the game.
