You’d think that Warner/DC would’ve learned a lesson from setting so much of Green Lantern on Earth. Apparently not, as it looks like they’ll be going the Masters of the Universe route by putting Lobo on Earth in his big screen debut. Bleeding Cool has located a plot synopsis that seems to be setting up the fail for yet another cosmic DC character:

Lobo, a powerful alien bounty hunter, lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc.

No no no no no! Lobo is an intergalactic bounty hunter. What is it about space that scares movie studios so much that they have to set scifi based movies on Earth? I seem to remember three big movies about a War in the Stars that did huge business without ever mentioning Earth…
