While the Angry Birds Star Wars toys and board games were revealed yesterday for an October 28th release, the big news was that there is obviously going to be a game based on it. Not surprisingly, it’ll be the core Angry Birds gameplay, but with Star Wars settings and characters. StarWars.com revealed the whole thing, and announced that it’ll be out on November 8th:

A new collaboration by Rovio Entertainment and Lucasfilm Ltd., Angry Birds Star Wars combines the classic gameplay and art style of Angry Birds with the legendary characters, designs, stories, and locales of the Star Wars saga. Gamers will take on the Empire in famous settings like Tatooine and the Death Star, but with the Angry Birds stable of characters playing the beloved Star Wars roles; the innovative touch-screen controls pioneered by Angry Birds are intact and improved, and the game’s humor is as sharp as ever.

It’ll be out on just about everything: iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone, and Windows 8.
