After releasing a text version of the seriously restrictive free to play limitations for The Old Republic, BioWare has released a new video highlighting some of them to better explain things. In addition to showing off the Party Jawa and hints at some of the other paying subscriber veteran rewards, the video also shows off the first look at the Cartel Market where you can buy the microtransaction items.

The other real big revelation in the video is what races free to play people are able to use. If you’re not a paying subscriber, you can only create a Human, Zabrak, or Cyborg. As the Cyborg is basically just the Human with some additional customization options, you are technically limited to only two races as a free player. As we’ve said before, it’s probably best just to pay the subscription.
