While we’ve known that the Daredevil rights were going to revert back to Marvel due to Fox’s failure of getting a new movie going, the deadline passed this week and that means the Guardian Devil is back home. Obviously we won’t see Daredevil popping up soon, and likely not until after The Avengers 2, but it’s yet another character back in Marvel’s stable. Prior to Thor and Captain America’s big screen debut, Marvel regained the rights to The Punisher.

It leads to the question of where does Daredevil fit? Honestly I think he should be the first Phase 3 movie. Speaking of Punisher, they could even fit Frank Castle in with Daredevil in the same movie. The two characters share a very similar, gritty, and crime-filled tone and they could even have Punisher go the villain route for his introduction.
