Days of Future Past Will Be Terminator With X-Men

Mark Millar is really doing the rounds talking up Fox’s new shared Marvel Universe that will hopefully complement Marvel Studios’ movies. After laying out his hopes for the universe they’re going to be making in their movies, he then spoke to UK scifi magazine SFX. Their US arm, Total Film, got the quotes from the interview where Millar describes Days of Future Past as “X-Men meets Terminator”:

“It’s X-Men meets The Terminator,” he continued.

“You’ve got robots, you’ve got time travel, you’ve got superheroes – it’s got everything in one film.”

“Cost-wise it’s going to go up, and ambitious-wise it’s gone up,” Millar said. “But Vaughn can handle it. Vaughn made Kick-Ass for $28 million.”

With the real Professor X returning for the movie, it looks like Fox is doing the right thing with this. Hopefully it really be used as a reboot to retcon X3 right out of the movie continuity.
