Before you curse this remake and run screaming like a Deadite, you should know that both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are involved with it. This isn’t yet another remake where some studio idiot thought it’d be fun to milk an 80s classic for a new group of “fans”. This is a true remake with the original creators backing it, and is a way to refresh Evil Dead.

IGN posted their exclusive on the red band (R-rated) trailer, which originally showed at New York Comic Con. A bootleg of the trailer hit the ‘net, but was quickly pulled so now we have a perfect quality version. A word of warning, this trailer is most definitely NSFW, is very R rated, and extremely bloody and gory. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
