Gallery: The Art of Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie

While it may have been buried a bit among the annual Paranormal Activity movie or some other crappy PG-13 horror move studios like to crap out in time for Halloween, Tim Burton’s feature-length adaptation of his live action short Frankenweenie was a return to form for the director who never reached the same heights of his 80′s and 90′s movies over the last decade.

Back at San Diego Comic Con this year, Disney had a small exhibit of some of the puppets used in the movie, but they’ve expanded that into a larger exhibit that they put on display in the Animation Building at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim. The exhibit will only be on display for another week before closing on November 5th, so we headed over and took some pictures of the great stop motion models that Burton and crew used to make the short into a full movie.
