I’ve begun to notice that the internet seems to be filled with people who just hate good food. Anytime there’s any news about the amazing In N Out or Five Guys, you have an army of militant vegans screaming “heart attack!” and attacking people for enjoying food.

Take for example the announcement that the awesome Denny’s would be serving up Hobbit-themed foods soon to promote the movie. Second Breakfast will indeed be real, but if you read the io9 article that broke the news and the comments on the article, you’d think that Denny’s was serving up wholesome batches of pure poison.

Sure, it’s not healthy to eat at Denny’s every day. Who does that? But where else can you go for a sampler at 2:00am after an all night lan gaming session?
