It’s not going to be Stathamazing, but I’ll take it over Shia LaDouche any day. Despite the flimsy rumors of Jason Statham teaming up with Optimus Prime in a movie that would make the last three movies really look like shit, the latest rumor is that Marky Mark himself may be the star. This one comes from Twitch who also says that whoever plays his son in the movie will become the focus of the next films in the series:

Ehren Kruger – also responsible for the second and third installments in the series – is again penning the script, one that we are hearing will revolve around an adult star (the part being discussed with Wahlberg) and his teenage child with the idea being that the child would then grow to be the focus of subsequent entries in the series.

It really sucks that they killed off Jazz in the first movie. The opportunity for him to belt out “Good Vibrations” at one point in the movie is just too hard to pass up. Even better, they could introduce Blaster and he could do it!
