Another cast member of Babylon 5 cast member has passed away, and this time it was the first commander. Season One’s Michael O’Hare (who did show up later in the series, SPOILERS) suffered a heart attack last Sunday and passed away this weekend. Fans of J. Michael Straczynski posted the sad news on their Facebook page:

I regret that I must convey the sad news that Michael O’Hare passed away today. He suffered a heart attack on Sunday and was in a coma until his passing this afternoon. This is a terrible loss for all B5 fans and everyone involved with the show wishes to convey their condolences to the O’Hare family. He was an amazing man.

Michael O’Hare is the fourth main cast member of the series to pass. Richard Biggs, Andreas Katsulas-cancer, and Jeff Conaway were all members of the cast who died early.
