Microsoft PWNS Halo 4 Pirates

Last week, retail copies of Halo 4 landed in people’s hands…and it was immediately pirated all over the internet. Pirates naturally downloaded their own copy and jumped on their Xbox to play the game early, and now they can’t play ever again.

According to MCV, Microsoft is issuing permanent bans to the idiots who decided to connect to Xbox Live while playing Halo 4. These dumbassses don’t know that Microsoft can see what you’re playing when you’re on XBL and if you’re playing Halo 4 right now, it isn’t a legitimate copy:

“We are aware of isolated cases in which Halo 4 content has been propped on the web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation immediately,” a Microsoft statement read.

“Consumers should be aware that piracy is illegal and we take vigorous action against illegal activity related to our products and services. Playing pirated copies of games, such as Halo 4, is a violation of the Xbox Live Terms of Use and will result in enforcement action, such as account and console bans.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH they got pwned.
