The annual GDC convention focusing on online gaming, GDC Online, took place this week in Austin and Star Wars: The Old Republic walked away with some pretty big awards. These yearly awards focus only on online games, with MMOs being a huge focus. As TOR was the biggest MMO release in the last year, it’s no surprise that it won some of the big awards. Here’s what TOR won:

Best Online Game Design
Best Online Visual Arts
Best Online Technology
Best New Online Game

Other big awards including SWG and UO’s Raph Koster being given the Online Game Legend Award, and World of Warcraft being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
