Next month Amazing Spider-Man will end with issue #700 and with it an era in Spidey’s life. Speculation is rampant about exactly what will happen in the issue, but fans do trust Dan Slott. He’s written Spidey amazingly ever since he was handed the difficult task of leading Peter Parker past the whole marriage thing after Civil War, and we’re all on board to see what he’s going to do with issue #700.
The preview pages show Peter dead. He’s being reunited with those he’s lost, but from the final page it looks like he isn’t going to be staying that way. Even so, some of these reunions will bring a big lump to your throat if you’re a longtime Spider-Man fan. We just have a few weeks, and one more issue, before #700 arrives.
