Will Robin be Batman in Justice League?

Normally rumors like this come with a huge grain of salt, but the source on this one has a history of being correct when it comes to Batman. Drew McWeeny at HitFix was the one who broke the news that Liam Neeson would be appearing in The Dark Knight Rises, and now his sources are telling him that the new Batman may have already been cast…and we’ve already seen him in the Batcave.

According to McWeeny’s sources, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be Batman in Justice League and there’s even a small possibility he’ll show up in a post-credits scene in Man of Steel:

So let’s take what we know and speculate a little bit. How crazy do you think fans would go if Superman were to take to the skies at the end of “Man Of Steel,” finally ready to fully accept his role as mankind’s most powerful protector, only to have the closing credits interrupted when something catches his attention and he swoops down out of that sky, landing on a rooftop where Jim Gordon stands next to the Bat-Signal, interrupting just as the new Batman arrives for a chat about Gotham’s latest problem?

Again, he was right about Neeson when everyone doubted it, so this could be true…
