SPOILERS: If you don’t want to know why Dan Slott is a big fat idiot, stop reading now.

Ok, I take it back. Dan Slott shouldn’t be writing Spider-Man anymore. Hell, he shouldn’t be writing comic books at all anymore. Yes, the ending for Amazing Spider-Man #700 has leaked online about two weeks before it hits stores. Marvel is obviously pissed that it’s been spoiled, and Slott is now receiving death threats over what he does in the book. I will not post the pictures here. The full issue didn’t leak, it wasn’t scanned and pirated, but three poor cellphone shots of the final pages of the issue are online.

If you remember in #698 it was revealed the Doc Ock swapped bodies with Peter. That means Ock has Peter’s memories, and Peter has his. This lead to issue #699 where Peter relived the memory of Aunt May banging Doc Ock before their wedding. Now it comes to #700, and prepare to be pissed.

Peter Parker dies inside Doc Ock’s body and Doc Ock takes on the mantle of the Superior Spider-Man. Yea.

Of course, Parker will someday come back to the comics; likely in some stupid reboot or something. But as of Amazing Spider-Man #700, Peter Parker is dead, dead, and dead.
