If you saw The Hobbit in theaters this weekend, you likely saw the two-minute version of the Star Trek Into Darkness trailer. Paramount released it online yesterday, and it isn’t just an extended version of the previously released one-minute trailer. It’s cut completely differently with a different tone and a whole bunch of new footage. Most interesting of all the new clips, is the still above.

Rows of people in cryogenic freeze. Now search your mind and think of the only major Trek villain who came from a family of people frozen in cryo…Khan. Could that be the Botany Bay? Then again, the villain could be Robert April, Gary Mitchell, Charlie X, or Trelane. Abrams is just being an asshole for being so secret.
