Any good fanboy should worship at the Ron Moore alter. If delivering some of the greatest hours of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine wasn’t good enough, he gave us four (yes, even the final season was good) years of the amazing Battlestar Galactica. It’s been too long since Ron Moore has graced television, but now he’s returning to SyFy with a new series called Helix. Deadline has the description:

Helix, from Sony Pictures TV, where Moore is under an overall deal, is about a team of scientists investigating a possible disease outbreak at an Arctic research facility who find themselves trying to protect the world from annihilation.

Sounds a little bit like The Thing with the whole Arctic setting. I can’t wait!
