I’ve been a longtime Lego builder and fan since I was a kid. When they began introducing Star Wars Legos, that was a dream come true. Finally I could build some of the coolest ships from the movies. Over the years, the Star Wars Legos have become among the most popular sets the company produces every year and their popularity paved the way for all the licenses that followed. Here are ten of the coolest Lego Star Wars sets ever made.

Millennium Falcon (Ultimate Collector’s)

This right here is the holy grail, if you’re own it you’re one lucky Star Wars fan. This long out-of-print Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon came out in 2007 and was eagerly snatched up by both collectors and builders. Clocking in at over 5000 bricks, it’s an impressive build and a pretty large set. If you want to pick up one new in the box, you can expect to pay anywhere from $3,000 to $12,000 for one on eBay these days.

Death Star

This set is actually still in print, but it’s still difficult to find because it flies off the shelves. And that’s a surprise as the set is $400, which is even more than some of the Ultimate Collector’s sets sold for when they were still in print! The cool thing about this set is half of the station is the Episode IV scenes, and the other half is the Episode VI parts. You also get an instant minifig collection when you buy it, which makes this a must have set for any Star Wars Lego builder.

Super Star Destroyer (UCS)

This is one of the latest UCS kits and it’s one of the largest Lego kits even created. At over 50″ long this is a huge finished creation, and it’s even more impressive that the original Imperial Star Destroyer. Just the detail alone in the engines is jaw-dropping. A very impressive set.

B-Wing (UCS)

Along with the massive Super Star Destroyer, the B-Wing is the other new UCS kit. It’s pretty impressive in size, and as the B-Wing was always one of the more interesting Star Wars ships, this is a fun build.

Imperial Shuttle (UCS)

This is another one of the older UCS gems, and it’s also pretty difficult to track down these days, but thankfully the eBay prices aren’t too high. You can find it for under $500, and it’s a pretty impressive build that results in an Imperial Shuttle that almost doesn’t even look like it was made out of Legos.
